The Reading branch of Specsavers recently celebrated its 25th anniversary and a change of premises with a day of festivities.
The store played host to a selection of guests, including a steel drum band, the deputy mayor of Reading, councillor Gul Khan, and Coronation Street actress and Reading resident Michelle Collins.
With new, larger premises the store has expanded its range of services with nine new testing rooms and added space for new equipment such as a fundus camera and a hearing centre. Since opening 25 years ago, the number of employees has grown from 25 to over 40, who serve more than 400 customers a week.
