More than 46,000 visitors attended the four-day event from May 4-7, up 9 per cent from 2006.
Figures also reveal that the event, which took place at a new venue, the Milan Fair Complex at Rho-Pero, boasted 15 per cent increase in net allocated exhibition space, compared to 2006 (53,000sq m against approximately 46,000sq m). More than 60 per cent of visitors (27,246) came from outside Italy.
