Mido, which was due to take place in-person on June 5-7 in Milan, Italy, has been cancelled and has been made an online exhibition because of Covid-19.
Organisers said the current situation did not allow the event to go ahead and it would be postponed until February 12-14, 2022.
This year, Mido would instead take place online as a digital platform for exhibitors and buyers, as well as an opportunity to discuss trends and new developments.
Giovanni Vitaloni, president of Mido, said: ‘Mido 2022 will at last be an occasion for sharing the reconstruction, enthusiasm and energy which we are all striving to set in motion in order to revive one of the most important segments of our country’s economy.’
