Mido closes Fair East exhibition hall

Mido has announced that its Fair East area will not be open at the 2020 event because the coronavirus is preventing Chinese companies from participating in the show.

Exhibitors from Asia who would usually showcase products and services in this area will instead be able to utilise a new digital platform that visitors to the show can access.

Mido4U.com enables direct contact with companies and will be active from February 17–24.

Giovanni Vitaloni, president of Mido, said: ‘It’s a small but concrete contribution to support our Chinese and Asian colleagues, to whom we address our thoughts and solidarity, that, with their participation, have been attending Mido for so many years.’
