Modo reaches milestone of helping 2 million children

Modo Eyewear, in partnership with Seva Foundation, has reached a significant milestone by helping 2 million children through their Buy a Frame – Help a Child See programme.

The initiative provided children in need with free vision tests, optometrist consultations, prescription glasses and corrective eye care, empowering them to pursue their education with renewed clarity and focus.

Julie Nestingen, chief philanthropy officer at Seva, shared: ‘Modo’s compassion, generosity, and network has played a pivotal role in enabling Seva and our network of partners to provide world-class eye care services at scale.’

Additionally, the partnership achieved what it set out to do in 2022 and has established 14 permanent vision centres in India and Nepal, providing eye care to over 1 million individuals while also creating job opportunities and contributing to local economic growth.
