Mondottica’s CEO steps down

Michael Jardine stepped down on January 1

Mondottica International has announced that its founder and chief executive officer, Michael Jardine, stepped down on January 1 with chief commercial officer Tony Pessok taking over the role.

Jardine will continue as a shareholder and member of the board of directors at the eyewear company with the title of founder and honorary chairman.

Speaking about his change in role, Jardine said: “Mondottica was started by me two decades ago and there is a nice symmetry in handing over the reins on the cusp of the new decade to come. We have accomplished much in 20 years and I am now excited to see the new C Suite bring it to an even greater level in future.”
