Monkey Glasses goes for subtle shapes in new collection

Inspired by a ‘sincere gratitude for all the things we love around us’, the new collection by Monkey Glasses uses cotton fibres and stainless steel to produce a sophisticated expression, characterised by thin lines, subtle shapes and elegant frame styles.

The Pili range includes a number of half-rimmed models clad around hexagonal lenses. The Pili displays a smooth design, with clean stainless-steel temples near the hinges running down into the tips, which are coated in a delicate acetate.

Meanwhile, the Percy (below) features round, full-rimmed lenses, adorned by a top bar made from the same steel as its bridge.

Again, the temples progress from bare steel to an acetate coating on the tips for contrast.
