Secretary of State for Scotland Michael Moore MP recently gained insight into retinal imaging technology developed by Scottish manufacturer Optos during a visit to the US.
The Secretary of State visited Optos client The Eye Doctors in Springfield near Washington DC and was imaged by Dr Michael Davidson.
Moore said: 'As a government, it is crucial we provide the support that innovative companies such as Optos need to succeed in the global race. From its base in Dunfermline, Optos has developed into one of the world leaders in eye care technology and I commend them on their success.'
