Mike Penning MP has paid a visit to his constituency company Heidelberg Engineering.

The Hemel Hempstead MP, a former fireman and Grenadier Guard, took a tour of the head office and training centre for glaucoma detection and management.

Penning, who wears reading glasses, also had his eyes scanned using the Spectralis OCT instrument.

‘As Mike is minister for disability, it was a great opportunity to discuss the effects of vision loss and the tremendous opportunities to reduce the cost of care needed through early detection and treatment,’ said Heidelberg UK director Krysten Williams (also pictured).
