M&S Opticians launches in London Colney

Marks & Spencer opens its sixth opticians’ practice in London Colney

Marks & Spencer has opened its sixth opticians’ practice in London Colney.

Town mayor Councillor Rosemary Farmer launched the practice with a ribbon cutting ceremony, with eyewear and eye test discount vouchers handed out to patients.

The practice will offer optical and eye health services for NHS and private patients such as eye tests, contact lens advice and free retinal photography.

Alex Stewart, optician manager at M&S London Colney, said: ‘We’re thrilled to finally launch what we hope will be the next chapter in M&S’ long history of serving British shoppers. We have a great team here and this week’s popular event is testament to everyone’s tireless commitment to making it a success. Now that we are finally open, we can’t wait to show off our new store and the state-of–the art optical services we can offer to London Colney shoppers.’
