Multiple backs summer read

Specsavers is continuing its funding of the TV Book Club, which returned to More4 late last month. In addition, its practices nationwide are offering a free TV Book Club Summer Read magazine with author interviews and summaries of the featured books.

The eight-part series, repeated on Channel 4, features presenters Jo Brand, Meera Syal and Rory McGrath, who are joined throughout the series by guest presenters including Ade Edmonson and Dave Spikey.

Specsavers marketing director Richard Holmes said: 'Vision and reading go hand in hand, so we're delighted to be supporting the summer read again this year and helping to promote literacy. There are some terrific titles in the new series and we'll be encouraging our customers to start their own book clubs, to read along with the show.'
