Murano celebrates 25 years

Murano Eyewear has celebrated 25 years of spectacles manufacturing and supplying frames to independent optical practices in the UK. 

Founder Alberto Da Rin moved to the UK in 1998 to become a luxury eyewear designer and make frame wearers feel confident and elegant.  

Da Rin’s love of eyewear started in the north east of Italy, where he grew up and worked different jobs in frame factories.  

Da Rin said he supplied to independents because he preferred doing business with people he knew and could build a trusting relationship with.  

He added he would continue to develop the Murano Eyewear collection with the same enthusiasm and commitment as when he first started.
