Myopia Focus has launched a ‘find a specialist’ map function its website to better connect patients with practices offering myopia management services.
Practices can create a listing for free, detailing their location, an image and description of treatments provided, as well as information about their services and approaches.
Richard Kadri-Langford, co-founder at Myopia Focus, said: ‘The new map makes it easier for parents to find specialists and easier for those specialists to be found.
'It’s a virtuous circle, as we know from our recent parent-focused research, that optometrists play the most important role in educating them about myopia and myopia management.’
Patients can search by treatments offered or by location in the UK, as well as in Europe, the US and Australia.
