Researchers investigate the results of refractive error screening among children

Researchers in Shanghai have begun work to investigate the results of refractive error screening among children, which has collected data from almost one million participants in collaboration with the Brien Holden Vision Institute.

The study, conducted by the Shanghai Eye Disease Prevention and Treatment Centre, will assess the impact of increased time outdoors on myopia development as it seeks to build on evidence of its protective effect on the onset or progression of the condition.
