The National Eyecare Group (NEG) is hosting a series of autumn CET seminars for independent practices in three locations this month.

The evening seminars, starting at 6pm, will offer two CET points, with 'A comparative look at silicone hydrogel contact lenses' from CooperVision and 'Freeform progressives: the technology is clear' from Shamir.

Product will be on show, with the launch of Pure Eyewear from Viva Eyewear. The latest software from Optinet, tools and supplies from Hilco and LVAs from Associated Optical will also be showcased.

Each evening ends in a draw for prizes including iPod Shuffles from Viva, champagne from CooperVision and a hotel break from NEG, whose business development manager Phil Mullins said the seminars offered practitioners the chance to get together and discuss matters relevant to everyday practice.

'The National Eyecare Group strongly supports the independent, and believes these evenings will be valuable to all.'
