New awards deadline

The deadline for entries to the Optician awards has been pushed back in response to requests for more time from a number of entrants.

Entries will now be accepted up until March 1 but no further extensions will be made as judging for most of the categories will take place on March 3.

Each of the Awards will be judged by a panel of specially selected judges and the shortlisted finalists will be announced in the March 10 issue of Optician.

Presentation of the trophies in all categories will be made at a glittering black-tie dinner and evening of entertainment at a top London Hotel on April 25th.

The evening will be hosted by a top TV compere and guests will be dined and entertained throughout the night.

After dinner there will be dancing or the opportunity to play the tables in our charity casino. All proceeds from the casino will be donated to the optical charities shortlisted in the Awards.
