New board appointment at Peter Ivins Eye Care

Optometrist Craig McArthur has joined the board of Peter Ivins Eye Care and become a shareholder in the Glasgow practice.

Owner Peter Ivins said: ‘This was always a planned move when we started the practice and part of our succession planning. We have utilised the HRMC approved Enterprise Management Incentive scheme to bring Craig on board as director and to allow him to acquire shares and participate in the success of the practice.

‘This is vital as he is and has been a key component in the growth and success of the practice. Succession planning is something all independent practice owners should consider and this system is a very good way of ensuring all parties involved get a win-win situation. I’m personally delighted that this has taken place and look forward to a great future for the practice.’
