The new online process for claiming CET grants has been praised by optical contractors.
It was revealed earlier this month at the start of the CET claims window (July 2) in a Locsu Hot Brief to ophthalmic contractors.
‘I was really impressed with the process,’ said optometrist Stewart Mitchell. ‘It was straight forward, streamlined and the submission form is easy to understand. Plus, when submitting via PCSE portal, I received confirmation of the claim the same day.’
Mitchell said that some contractors may not be familiar with their ODS Code, but that NHS Digital could provide the necessary information.
