New dry eye diagnostic tool from Six Six Contacts

A new all-in-one tool for the diagnosis of dry eye is now available in the UK and Ireland through Six Six Contacts.

The Easytear view+ is designed and developed to observe the tear film and the anterior segment of the eye in a non-invasive way. It is equipped with three types of light. White light with different brightness levels to assess the tear film and lipid layer of the tear film. Blue light used to illuminate a larger area than the slit lamp to observe fluorescein patterns, perform break up time, blink analysis and corneal staining. Infrared light and the special camera allow full investigation of the integrity and functionality of the meibomian glands.
