With an identity rooted in avant-garde watch design, British brand Storm London has collaborated with International Eyewear to bolster its eyewear portfolio with 30 new styles.
International Eyewear said the collection was designed in keeping with qualities of the Storm London watches.
The new models offer patients a minimalist style, utilising slim profiles, muted colour palettes, quirky hinge concepts and displaying internal construction of the frames. Other features include on-trend double pin detailing.
Rosemary Morton, International Eyewear’s product development manager, said: ‘The concept for all Storm London eyewear designs always starts with the watches. There are many watch designs that showcase the mechanisms of the watch as design details. We love the idea of celebrating the inner workings of eyewear, so you will see crystal acetates used throughout the collection to highlight the frame construction.’
Pictured from the new collection are the S565, pictured top, and S565 ophthalmic frames. Both models sport easy to wear rectangular silhouettes in translucent matt hues that show off the inner core skeletons.
Sunglass style S580, above, displays retro sensibilities with its keyhole bridge.
