A force behind NHS commissioning proposals in England will be the keynote speaker for this year's National Optometric Conference (NOC).
Dame Barbara Hakin, managing director for commissioning development at the Department of Health, will present the case for clinical commissioning and how eye health services would be commissioned from 2013. The two-day conference begins on November 3 at Chesford Grange, Warwickshire.
