
NHS Wales has reminded eye care professionals that only those who are compliant as a performer and as a practice will be remunerated for work undertaken from October 20.
A letter from NHS Wales Shared Service Partnership said to act now as only a ‘small window of opportunity’ remained to ensure they were able to continue providing general ophthalmic services.
New ophthalmic services regulations were released by the Welsh government in September and a range of resources were created to help practitioners navigate the changes.
These include GOS personal checklists, contractor declaration forms, annotations to current GOS/EHEW forms for WGOS 1 & 2, and crib sheets for practices.
