Nick Loan has resigned as managing director of Rodenstock UK after a brief period at the helm. A company statement said that Loan who took up his appointment last December had left ‘at his own request.’
Loan said: ‘This has been a very difficult decision for me to make. However, sometimes in life difficult decisions need to be made decisively.’
Chris Hunt, who was re-appointed earlier this week as UK regional development director said: ‘I am deeply saddened to see Nick leave but he had made the decision prior to my appointment. I would have enjoyed working with him but is was not to be. The process begins to find a suitable successor.’
Loan's decision was also made before the recent departure of Sean MacGillavry.
A spokewoman for Rodenstock said the proximity of all the changes was coincidental and Loan's departure was unrelated to the other changes in the management structure.
