Nike flexes its muscles with Hyper collection

Nike Vision has introduced two new flexible ophthalmic frames to the Marchon Flexon product portfolio.

The Flexon Hyper collection has been designed for active patients who are tough on their frames. The injection moulded frames feature a TR-70 core sealed inside a layer of rubber. The memory properties of Flexon mean the frame always returns to its original shape after force is applied.

‘The main goal was to completely reshape the look and feel of Flexon by creating something fun, flexible and irreverent — but also at the top of its game,’ said Carl Allen, Marchon Eyewear senior designer.

Two models are available, the Nike 4259 and the Nike 4258. Both styles feature a waffle tread pattern and cantilevered hinges and colour accents on the inner frame material. The same accent also lines the lens grooves.
