Nike shows its heritage

Nike’s new urban heritage line has a retro feel that is designed to compliment the popular sport culture clothing and footwear ranges.

A number of heritage features include a footwear tread grip inside the frame’s temple, paying homage to the Blazer trainer, Nike’s first basketball shoe with swoosh logo. Custom designed three- and five-barrel hinges engraved with Est 72 to commemorate the year Nike was founded are another feature of the collection.

Comprising two series and 12 initial styles, the collection will gain six additional models in the autumn. The 7000 series is designed in double-laminated zyl and frames are dual coloured with soft natural tones. Style 7003 is a bold rectangular frame with the custom five-barrel hinge and comes in the colours Pilgrim, Midnight, Baroque brown, Maple and Brownstone.
