NOC keynote speaker announced

Professor James Kingsland was announced as the first keynote speaker of the Local Optical Committee Support Unit’s (Locsu) National Optical Conference.  

The general practitioner held roles as national clinical director and president of the Primary Care Association, as well as a government advisor at the Department of Health.  

Prof Kingsland also held advisory positions at the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence, the Care Quality Commission and NHS Improvement.  

The event will take place on November 13-14 at Wyboston Lake Resort in Bedfordshire and will feature a day of learning followed by a day of collaborating.
