A return to a face-to-face event has been announced for the National Optical Conference (NOC) on October 10-12 after it was held online during Covid-19.
Hosted for local optical committees (LOCs) at the Queen’s Hotel in Leeds city centre, the event will take a longer format to ‘give space to debate and discuss issues, such as NHS reform as well as to share ideas, views, and best practice,’ said the chief executive at the Local Optical Committee Support Unit (Locsu), Richard Whittington.
He added: ‘The NOC in October will be a great opportunity for all LOCs to come together for a combination of workshops, keynote speaker and networking after the recent virtual events.'
