Norville cuts a Dash with adaptor

Sports eyewear offers more options with prescription adaptor

As the sports eyewear season fast approaches Norville has secured a stock of prescription adaptors for its Progear Dash range of active eyewear.

The firm said having an alternative to direct glazing of prescription lenses for the Dash range allowed a much wider variety of lenses, coatings and finishes to be applied. This in turn allows practices to offer Dash to their customers for a wider range of outdoor and sporting pursuits. The adaptor forms a neat solution to difficult prescriptions while offering better optics and aesthetics than a clipped-in insert.

The wrapped Dash design with flexi-sides was aimed initially at cycling but has found a range of sport and general outdoor uses. Dash is offered for plano-only wear but can be glazed in powers to plus or minus 4 cylindrical and spherical powers.
