Norville Opticians in Keynsham, Somerset, created awareness in practice during Autism Acceptance Week and raised a total of £310 for the National Autistic Society.
Team members revamped the practice with colourful bunting, held a cake sale and rainbow raffle, sported charity t-shirts and discussed autism with patients.
Beth Bracey, director at Norville Opticians, thanked the patients who joined the practice and helped spread positivity in the community.
‘We welcome patients into our practice that are a wide range of ages and backgrounds and we always want each and every patient to feel valued and cared for to the same extent.’
The practice raised £200 and an additional £110 was personally donated by staff to support the National Autistic Society’s service to people living with autism and their families.
