A team of optical staff from Norville Opticians in Stonehouse threw themselves into Battle of Britain day festivities in the town earlier this month. They dressed up for music and face painting events while the company also sponsored a local competition. Practice manager Maria Kellett said: 'It was great to be involved in an event like this. Opticians can be very important in a small town like this and I think it's essential, especially with people's worries about the economy, to show that we as a business are part of the community.'
