The latest victim of the nerve agent Novichok died after wearing ‘contaminated’ sunglasses

A victim of the nerve agent Novichok, Dawn Sturgess, died after wearing ‘contaminated’ sunglasses, according to reports by the Sun newspaper.

Sturgess, 44, who died on Sunday reportedly found the sunglasses in Queen Elizabeth Gardens in Salisbury while there with her partner, Charlie Rowley,.

The police are now trying to locate the glasses case they believe held the nerve agent that ended her life.

The theory that the couple were poisoned from a cigarette butt has since been abandoned.
