The company has launched a campaign urging consumers to improve their 'Eye-Q' by reminding them that not all sunglass lenses are the same and those that loosely claim to 'block UV' cannot be relied upon.

The IMC Research survey of 3,015 people revealed that one in five said they suffered eye strain, dizziness or blurred vision as a result of wearing poor quality sunglasses.

More than a third did not know which UV light their sunglasses should be blocking and one in three 18-24-year-olds reported eye ailments after prolonged sunglass wear.
