OCL Vision delivers 12,000 patient appointments in a year

OCL Vision delivered 12,000 patient appointments in 2023, which the company said reflected soaring demand for private treatment as NHS waiting lists exceed 7.7 million.

Since launching five years ago, the surgeon-owned company has invested £5m in medical technology for its clinics in Marylebone, Kensington and Elstree.

The company, which employs 80 members of staff, including 10 consultant ophthalmic surgeons, plans to further expand this year with sites in the home counties and Midlands.

It also plans to extend its Shared Care Partnership programme, teaming up with optometrists to improve patient care in the community, and enhance its OCL Vision Academy by forging links with universities.
