Ocuco sees 4% rise in income

The Ocuco Group, comprising of practice management software specialists Ocuco, OcucoRelcon and lab software business DRS Computing, has reported a marginal increase in total income of 4 per cent to £2.8m for the financial year ending August 31, 2006.

The Ocuco Group, comprising of practice management software specialists Ocuco, OcucoRelcon and lab software business DRS Computing, has reported a marginal increase in total income of 4 per cent to £2.8m for the financial year ending August 31, 2006.

The company said that profits fell 30 per cent to £384,048 due to a 'substantial' increase in research and development. Also only one month's accounts of the now merged Relcon Software were included in the figures, these would bring total revenues from the group in the period to over £4m.

In market share the group said it had made substantial progress, with the total number of supported practices growing by over 300 per cent from 326 to over 1,000, representing more than 6,000 desktops using the Acuitas and Focus Practice Management Software across the UK and Ireland.
