Professor John Nolan, expert in ocular nutrition and macular pigment, has been named as the latest keynote speaker for the educational lecture programme at Optrafair London.
The Fulbright Scholar, Howard Fellow and European Research Council (ERC) Fellow began his research career 10 years ago. His achievements include around 65 manuscripts in peer-reviewed journals, which have been cited 728 times leading to an H index of 16.
He is a well-known face on the international circuit, having given 56 presentations, some as keynote speaker, with 46 international poster presentations. His other work has seen him supervise 15 students to MSc, PhD and MD level qualifications, and secured €3.6m in funding.
