Lindsay Brown is the new director of commercial sales in Europe for ophthalmic lens company Transitions Optical.
Brown will be responsible for developing the commercial sales market in the EMEA region. His responsibilities will include: developing and implementing appropriate strategies across the regions/areas coaching and leading the commercial organisation developing a suitable focus and budget for retails chains with the director, business development retail chains and coordinating channel activity with the marketing team. Brown joined Transitions in April 2005 as business director for the UK/Nordic/Baltic regions and from 2000 he was managing director of Specsavers, South Africa. EMEA general manager Todd White said: 'I am delighted to welcome Brown and his extensive experience will no doubt leverage Transitions towards continued growth and future success within the EMEA region.'
