OO failed to spot tumour

Kahlon saw the patient on two occasions, noting what she believed to be a lesion and possible scar tissue during the first examination. She advised the patient to come back in 12 months and at that return visit, the patient lost sight of the main light during a peripheral vision test and complained that reading vision had become notably less sharp. Kahlon prescribed reading glasses and again told the patient to return in 12 months. The tumour was diagnosed four months later and the eye was subsequently removed.
