Optegra names new CMO

Optegra Eye Health Care has announced the appointment of ophthalmic surgeon Seema Verma as its new chief medical officer.

Verma has experience at a range of London teaching hospitals including the last 19 years at Moorfields Eye Hospital.

She said: ‘I am excited to embark on a new challenge with Optegra to develop new pathways offering high quality ophthalmic services to our patients.’

Rory Passmore, UK managing director of Optegra Eye Health Care, added: ‘We are delighted that Seema is joining our team.
