
EssilorLuxottica has entered Fortune’s 2019 Change the World List for its commitment to eliminate poor vision by 2050.
One of 52 companies on the list, Essilor’s mission to improve lives by improving sight across the world was recognised by Fortune as having had a significant social impact on people’s lives.
Jayanth Bhuvaraghan, head of mission at EssilorLuxottica, commented: ‘Eradicating poor vision is not only a unique business opportunity but a big responsibility for us as an industry leader.
