Time is running out to book your places for the 2016 Optician Awards ceremony which takes place at a brand new venue close to the National Exhibition Centre during the Optrafair weekend (April 9-11).
At the ceremony 16 trophies will be presented at a glittering black tie bash which includes a champagne reception, three-course dinner, stunning AV show and a presentation ceremony overseen by a celebrity host. Afterwards there will be dancing to a live band and a charity casino.
All of the proceeds from the charity casino will be donated to Blind Veterans UK.
New categories, new sponsors and a new venue are all features of the 2016 Optician Awards which takes place at the Vox which is housed within the Resorts World centre, on the NEC site.
Details of how to book your place are found at www.opticianawards.com. Attendance is open to anyone who wishes to attend, not just finalists and sponsors.
Optician hosts the Awards alongside Optrafair to enable as many of those from the optical profession and business as possible to attend.
The names of the finalists for the 16 Optician Awards can be found below and about 500 guests from across the optical profession and industry are expected to attend.
This is the first time the Optician Awards have been held at the recently opened Vox, a state-of-the-art banqueting facility within the Resorts World complex. Resorts World contains a shopping centre, a cinema, a casino and a Genting Hotel while the Vox boasts the latest in sound and lighting technology. The event takes place on Saturday April 9 and is just a stone’s throw from Optrafair and all of the NEC hotels.
