A total of 16 trophies were presented during the Optician Awards at the Birmingham Metropole last weekend.
Ned Saunders, of charity SeeAbility, picked up the Dispensing Optician of the Year prize, while Alisdair Buchanan won Optometrist of the Year.
Actress and comedian Debra Stephenson provided the entertainment and handed out the awards, while Optician Awards’ chosen charity Blind Veterans UK raised a total of £4,866 on the night.
