Registrants who fail to meet their minimum annual requirement of six CET points by the December 31 deadline may not be able to renew their registration in the new year, the GOC has warned. The Council said nearly 30 per cent of registrants still needed to record the required six CET points by the deadline and that points must be accepted in the MyGOC area of the GOC website to be recorded. Registrants unsure about requirements were encouraged to log onto their MyGOC account or contact the GOC’s education team.

Vision Aid Overseas has appointed Nigel Wilson as executive director. Wilson will take up his post in January and succeeds Dr Natalie Briggs, who leaves as chief executive in December. Wilson was previously the charity’s international programme director. ‘Heading up this incredible organisation and continuing to work with an amazing team is a privilege,’ ?he said.
