Optician offers latest Awards

There is something for everyone in the 2010 Optician Awards which open for entries later this month.

Alongside the categories for Optical Assistant Team of the Year and the Dispensing Optician of the Year sponsored by BBGR will be a completely new category, the Contact Lens Practitioner of the Year. This award will seek to reward best practice in contact lenses among optometrists and DOs. The Optometrist of the Year award will be sponsored by tax and accountancy expert A+E+L.

Grafton Optical and its technology partners Synemed Eyescape and Frastema return as the sponsor of Technology Practice of the Year and Rodenstock as the sponsor of the Individualised Practice of the Year. Hoya is the sponsor of the Independent Practice of the Year and Transitions the sponsor of the Premium Lens Practice of the Year. Other categories in the line up include the Sports Vision Practice of the Year and the Family Optician of the Year.
