Several of Optician's CET articles have been reappraised and are now available as therapeutics (TP) accredited points.
This follows last week's news (November 24) that optometrists listed on the specialist therapeutics registers had to earn specialist TP points by the end of the year despite not enough points being available.
Last week Optician submitted several articles for reappraisal which have now been confirmed and sent out to all the therapeutics speciality optometrists of whom the GOC is aware.
There are up to 12 TP points available from this source and anyone still needing TP points to stay on the register should contact Vantage. Alternatively contact Optician clinical editor at william.harvey@rbi.co.uk.
