Optician is offering readers the chance to earn interactive CET points by attending a seminar which is part of the live education alongside Optrafair (April 13-15).
The seminar will be hosted by Optician clinical editor Bill Harvey as part of the CET conference running alongside the exhibition.
Harvey said this, and other face to face events, would form part of Optician's CET offering to reflect the recent changes made by the GOC. As well as traditional distance learning CET and interactive CET points gained through online learning, Optician also wanted to offer readers the opportunity to attend meetings.
'We are running a distance learning CET exercise in March which covers some of the basics of low vision practice in the community. It is aimed as an introduction to the subject, perhaps all the more relevant now that there is a specific CET competency requirement for DOs in this area,' said Harvey.
