Opticians across the UK put on their best festive displays

Practice owner Emily Golding got local design students to come up with her window display. ‘I wanted to put us on the map, but not with advertising, with something more special for Christmas so I approached the college and asked if they’d consider asking their students to design it, concentrating on celebrating Colchester and Christmas,’ says Golding.

Every year, Henley-on-Thames has a competition between local businesses on who can create the best Christmas display. This year’s theme was a Christmas movie, for which the Frost Borneo Optometrists team decided on A Christmas Carol. Different themes come and go with the years, but what remains is a community bound by festive spirit.
