The report, released by (CHECT) in conjunction with World Retinoblastoma Awareness Week 2015 (10-16 May), praised opticians for the crucial role they played in spotting the signs of the life-threatening condition.

The three-year figures showed that while less than half of children with Rb receive the urgent referral NICE recommends, opticians, including CHECT partner Vision Express, are correctly handling cases.
