Optix conference goes from strength to strength

Conferences
Practice management software provider Optix held its 8th annual business conference on March 10-11 at the Chesford Grange Hotel in Warwickshire

Over 300 optical professionals and suppliers attended the event and enjoyed a stellar speaker line-up that included former New Labour director of communication and strategy Alistair Campbell, boom-to-bust jewellery retailer Gerald Ratner and business turnaround expert Kevin Gaskell.

The conference has grown significantly since its inaugural event attracted 37 attendees and Optix managing director, Trevor Rowley paid tribute to everyone who supported or attended this year.

Optix managing director Trevor Rowley said: ‘I’m grateful to my customers and the exhibitors, most of whom have become friends over the years. I hope they enjoyed the conference as much as I did.

‘It started out as a way of being able to assist new customers with Optix software in a more relaxed informal setting and we wanted to make it more business orientated by adding some world class speakers.’
