Mark Nelson of Barnett Opticians in Middlesex and Ravi Sohal of Eyediology Opticians and Blackheath Opticians in London have both won stays in a five-star hotel as well as places at the Optix user group meeting in March (14-16).
Taking place at the Celtic Manor resort in South Wales, the two day conference will see William Hague, the former leader of the Conservative Party and Foreign Secretary giving a keynote speech along with after dinner entertainment from Miles Jupp, the new host of The News Quiz on BBC 4.
Reacting to the news, Nelson said: ‘What a wonderful surprise to be selected to attend the Optix conference in Wales. I have been envious from afar looking at their previous conferences. I am thrilled to bits.’
