Optometry Giving Sight (OGS) has been chosen as the nominated charity for the BCLA over the next twelve months. The Association's decision was in response to a request from its members to support an optical charity and was made after considering several nominations.
OGS chairman, Bob Chappell said: 'We are delighted to have been chosen as this year's nominated charity. We feel a particular affinity with the BCLA given the incredible support that we receive from so many organisations involved in the contact lens industry.'
BCLA president Sarah Janikoun commented: 'We are delighted to put our support behind such a worthwhile cause.'
